two poems of contentment

I.

today i am pleased

to be at play with a pisces,

passing photos & pussy poetry

(oral performance)

dreams, fairytales, & fantasies

working my sacral chakra.

II.

today i am content to be a poet,

observe the world without window,

utter prayer poetry with my mother

­–salve for the soul–

and bring my pencil to the page

once again.
